**Job Summary**

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team in the Procurement Execution Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions to support data-driven decision making.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Transform complex data sets into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or other visualization tools
  • Design and build scalable, automated reporting systems and dashboards
  • Support the data visualization process by monitoring and tuning queries and data loads
  • Collaborate with end users to understand their conceptual needs and deliver production-ready solutions
  • Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, and analyses used to drive key business decisions
  • Support annual activities and RFPs for Procurement Categories by performing data extraction, data cleansing, and data prep
  • Train stakeholders from the corresponding business group on dashboard usage and best practices

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or similar)
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, BI Data Engineering, or other related fields
  • Medium to advanced SQL skills for acquiring and transforming data
  • Proficiency in drawing insights from data and clearly communicating information to stakeholders and senior management
  • Experience configuring and using Tableau or Power BI applications
  • Tableau Desktop or Power BI certification preferred
  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT design/development using Alteryx or SSIS
  • Understanding of high-level programming languages (Python preferred)
  • Ability to analyze and extract relevant information from large, complicated data sets
