About the Role

In this pivotal role, you will join our in-house IT team, which includes Solution Leads, Engineers, Business Analysts, Architects, and Developers. Reporting directly to the Director of IT for Financial Consolidations and Management Reporting, you will oversee the integration of finance solutions primarily within SAP/S4 and SAC applications. Your expertise in SAP/S4 and its integration capabilities will be essential as you navigate various regional ERP systems and data sources.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of mid to senior-level managers and solution consultants.
  • Developing and maintaining a strategic roadmap for Financial Planning and Consolidation Applications.
  • Collaborating with IT and business partners to implement effective financial solutions.
  • Facilitating requirement gathering sessions and workshops.
  • Guiding the team through requirement identification, design, build, and support for SAC Planning and Reporting.
  • Providing architectural and solution guidance for technology implementations.
  • Ensuring thorough testing of systems and solutions to meet design specifications.
  • Documenting requirements, designs, and specifications comprehensively.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Supporting testing cycles and addressing defects promptly.
  • Offering hyper-care and post-implementation support.
  • Managing application support and engaging with various teams critical to the financial processes.
  • Monitoring service level agreements (SLAs) for incident management.
  • Overseeing the upgrade cycles of FP&A and consolidation applications, mitigating risks to ensure seamless business operations.

About You

  • 15-20 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and consolidation tools such as SAP BPC, Essbase, Anaplan, and SAC.
  • 10-12 years of experience managing SAP Planning and Consolidation Tools.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams of 6-10 members for 6-8 years.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Capacity to navigate through ambiguities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and business processes.
  • Preferred qualifications include CA/CPA, ICWA, or a Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing financial planning tools, particularly SAP SAC and BPC.
  • Experience with SAC implementations and migrations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
