The Kindle Ingestion and Expansion (KIX) team plays a vital role in enabling independent authors, content creators, and publishers to distribute their eBooks across the Kindle Store, Kindle Unlimited, and the Kindle Owners' Lending Library. This team also focuses on producing print formats for sale on Amazon's global marketplaces, bookstores, and other online retailers using state-of-the-art Print on Demand technology.
This is a key component of Amazon's vision to provide Kindle customers with an extensive selection of digital and paperback content. The KIX Support Engineering team provides Tier 2&3 services production support and offers multifaceted services to the Kindle digital product family of development teams and production operations teams for software product release coordination and deployment.

- Key job responsibilities include providing support for incoming tickets, troubleshooting, coding projects, software deployment, tool development, system reporting, digital product ownership, customer notifications, and workflow coordination.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of software development or technical support experience
- Troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Unix experience
- Scripting in modern programming languages
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Scripting experience in Bash, Python, Perl, or Ruby
- Experience working with REST API based services
- REST web services, XML, JSON
The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 annually, based on factors such as location, qualifications, and performance.
