Corporate Banking Liaison

Role Overview
As a key member of our team, you will oversee corporate banking operations to craft and execute relationship strategies centered around our clients. You will orchestrate focused initiatives and events to enhance client engagement. Your responsibilities will include developing and sustaining a comprehensive customer database, tracking interactions, and evaluating outcomes for both new and existing business connections. You will also manage ongoing relationships to achieve profitability and revenue objectives, fulfill sales targets, mitigate retention risks, and enhance cross-selling opportunities while ensuring a superior customer service experience.
Key Responsibilities: Delivery
Maintain an up-to-date customer database, documenting all interactions and results for both new and existing business relationships. Engage in regular pipeline meetings to discuss current client financial statuses and operational changes. Cultivate a thorough understanding of the bank's offerings, credit policies, client eligibility, and necessary business practices to facilitate product sales and ensure efficient transaction processing. Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of all client transactions within established credit and risk parameters. Monitor profitability and revenue goals, conducting periodic reviews and analyses of credit quality, and addressing any delinquent loans or compliance issues with actionable recommendations for modifications or provisions. Collaborate with corporate banking teams to prepare compelling pitch materials and offering memorandums, including research, financial modeling, and transaction narratives.
Key Responsibilities: Interpersonal
Actively support initiatives to strengthen client relationships and broaden business opportunities. Work collaboratively with coverage, sales, and lending teams to enhance information sharing. Begin to establish a network within the industry through participation in meetings, events, and trade organization involvement. Contribute to the unit's long-term and short-term strategic planning and new product development efforts.
Key Responsibilities: Expertise
Exhibit a foundational understanding of products, practices, rates, and market trends, particularly those relevant to clients and their industries, to effectively address client inquiries. Demonstrate a working knowledge of all lending products available from the bank and its competitors, as well as the evolving needs of customers that drive business growth. Develop insights into securities markets and capital market operations to respond to client requests. Communicate analytical and marketing insights effectively. Acquire a working understanding of legal, accounting, and regulatory matters to assist in addressing client inquiries.
Qualifications and Skills
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is recommended.
