We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Administrator to join our team at Zillow. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our ServiceNow platform, which plays a critical role in our service management and workflow automation.
As a ServiceNow Administrator, you will be part of a team responsible for configuring, maintaining, and improving the platform to ensure its efficiency in supporting our business processes and delivering outstanding user experiences. This role includes overall responsibility for the system and its processes, as well as providing training to users and being accountable for access control, security, and minor improvements.
You will work with customers to understand, propose, and deliver solutions using ServiceNow standard methodologies. In addition to day-to-day administration, the Admin may also work in platform upgrades, facilitating rollouts of new applications and improvements.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience with ServiceNow administration, experience in implementing ServiceNow processes and functions, and strong customer focus and desire to provide an impeccable customer experience.
Responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the integrity of the platform across production and non-production instances.
- Performing installation and testing of updates and new releases.
- Assisting in troubleshooting patch / release management issues.
- Building reports, gauges, and home pages.
- Maintaining Service Level Agreement (SLA) and being responsible for SLA workflows.
- Creating and using update sets to move configurations between systems.
- Configuring and customizing the SN platform in collaboration with IT teams, TPMs, and ServiceNow customers to align with business requirements.
- Improving and maintaining ServiceNow ITSM modules.
- Supervising and maintaining the health, performance, and security of the ServiceNow platform.
- Fixing and resolving technical issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures.
- Providing user support and training.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and customizations.
- Staying up to date with ServiceNow releases, features, and standard processes.
