We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Consolidation and Reporting to join our team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a key member of our Global Franchises, Products & Experiences Finance leadership team, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis for our studios.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a standard, global consolidated P&L reporting system for the Products & Experiences function.
- Provide revenue and expense forecasting, royalty reporting, and franchise reporting to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with business finance counterparts to gather inputs and understand drivers of financial performance.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with business partners to ensure seamless flow of information and knowledge sharing.
- Identify and execute improvement potential in financial planning and reporting processes, including the use of business intelligence dashboarding and operational KPIs.
- Build and manage a team of financial planning and analysis professionals to support the Franchises, Products, and Experiences business.
- Ensure timely and accurate royalty reporting for the DC Comics business.
- Support licensee audits and develop analytical capabilities to provide ad-hoc business support.
- Drive process simplification initiatives and collaborate across boundaries to share best practices with other FP&A teams.
- At least 10 years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Development, Strategic Planning, or Management Consulting.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other data analysis techniques, with demonstrated experience in financial modeling.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to frame issues, articulate findings, and present optimal solutions.
- Proven ability to build confidence and trust with department members and external business partners.
- Experience working accurately and efficiently with high volumes of data under strict deadlines.
- Motivated by a challenging, high-energy environment.
- Strong working knowledge of financial software packages and Microsoft Office suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
- Solid understanding of the entertainment business, preferably in Theatrical, Games, TV Distribution, Home Entertainment, Consumer Products, and/or Global Themed Experiences.
- Strong accounting knowledge.
- People management experience, with at least 2 years of experience.
- Essbase, SAP, Tableau experience preferred.
