As a Hydraulic Laboratory Supervisor at American Standard, you will be responsible for overseeing the testing activities and ensuring the high quality of results from the laboratory. You will also be responsible for the safety of the equipment and personnel in charge.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the maintenance of the hydraulic laboratory accreditation based on ISO 17025 and other applicable standards.
- Plan and supervise the testing activities in charge of the laboratory technicians.
- Manage the necessary resources for the execution of the requested hydraulic tests.
- Ensure the technical competence of the personnel in charge.
- Responsible for the quality of test results and safety of the equipment.
- Identify opportunities for improvement of the hydraulic performance of the products.
- Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or Technical degree.
- 2 or more years of experience working in a similar position supervising a small team.
- ISO 17025, concepts of metrology, statistical tools (Minitab desirable).
- Focused on results with a sense of urgency.
- Comfortable working with a team as well as supervising others.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Intermediate level English language proficiency.
