Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our team at our Northwest Arkansas office. As a UX Design Consultant, you will play a critical role in developing innovative technology solutions that improve lives and experiences through a human-centered approach.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a team of Researchers and Designers, influencing the strategic direction of a large global organization. You will be responsible for conducting research, providing insights, and designing new critical technology solutions. Your excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills will enable you to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into compelling user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the design process from concept to final implementation, ensuring a seamless and user-centric approach.
  • Engage in user research, including interviews, workshops, and usability testing, to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups communicating design ideas and interactions.
  • Develop and maintain user personas, journey maps, and other UX documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into compelling user experiences.
  • Advocate for the end user, ensuring their needs and feedback are incorporated into the design process.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our UX processes.
  • Present design concepts and solutions, clearly articulating design rationale and trade-offs.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in UX Design or Human-Computer Interaction, or related field with 1+ years of experience.
  • Must provide a link to your portfolio featuring UX-focused work samples demonstrating design concepts for solutions.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma (preferred tool), Framer, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Experience with user research methods, usability testing, and data analysis.
  • Solid communication and presentation skills.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Location and Benefits:
The ideal candidate will be located in Springdale, AR, at the Tyson Emma Office. Minimal travel may be required, depending on individual project requirements. The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, plus benefits including paid time off, 401(k) plans, affordable health, life, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits, and more.
