About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Manager to join our Process Automation division in Mexico. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the marketing strategy for the assigned area, leading and developing the Marketing team, and showcasing your expertise by designing and managing the marketing action plan to achieve key qualitative and quantitative targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, plan, and implement marketing and communications strategies for the assigned area in accordance with the business area/division marketing and sales strategy and budget.
  • Develop action plans to deliver the agreed marketing and communications strategy within the budget.
  • Define the marketing targets for the assigned area and ensure their achievement, anticipating changes in the market direction proactively and facilitating timely and appropriate remedial action.
  • Identify existing and new strategic segments and business opportunities through market analysis, defining strategy/business plans for each opportunity, and coordinating with the relevant teams for the assigned area.
  • Work with sales teams to identify and highlight key wins, successes, case studies, and technology applications in region, creating stories around these compelling topics supporting and driving market leadership.
  • Develop and execute internal communication strategies, designing plans to ensure that information flows efficiently and effectively within the PA organization.
  • Manage the corporate intranet, ensuring that it is up-to-date and a valuable resource for employees.
  • Event planning and organization, defining the objectives of the event, determining the type of event that best aligns with those objectives, and establishing a calendar for ABB employees.
  • Together with HR, plan, design, and carry out engagement actions for the PA MX employee team.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing or marketing communications in a B2B environment (prefer technical/industrial environment), as well as experience in internal communications.
  • Established strong skills in writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Results-focused with strong analytical skills.
  • Highly skilled in developing strategic marketing communications plans to achieve desired targets.
  • Possess a creative mindset and a drive to innovate, with a self-starter approach and strong networking capabilities.
  • At ease communicating in English, with Spanish being mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing and/or Communications.
