Project Planning and Control Specialist

Main Responsibilities:

Create and maintain project planning and control tools and processes to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Performance Indicators:

Develop and implement standards for project planning and control, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Project Coordination:

Coordinate the creation of project master schedules, establishing milestones and commitments with stakeholders.

Training and Development:

Provide training support to project management teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills to execute projects effectively.

Position Challenges:

Coordinate and obtain metrics for program assessment, supporting informed decision-making.

Program Development:

Coordinate and obtain the elaboration of programs and strategies for execution, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Strategic Planning:

Define strategic action plans, clearly outlining objectives and requirements.

Communication:

Establish clear communication channels with the work team, ensuring effective collaboration and problem-solving.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Administration, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Project Administration.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in PC programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.

Language Skills:

Fluency in English and Spanish.

Experience:

0-5 years of experience in manufacturing, materials, cement, and project administration.

Key Competencies:

Structured and analytical, with the ability to detect relevant facts for integral problem-solving.

Ability to work effectively with others to accomplish common goals.

Leadership, team player, moderator, advisor, charismatic, ethical, and self-driven.

Internal/External Relations:

Internal:

Project Manager, Engineering Manager, Construction Coordinator, HR, GSO/BSO, Planning, Procurement, IT, EH&S, and Internal Control/PA.

External:

External Advisors, Governmental Entities, CEOs of main equipment suppliers, and CEOs of global Engineering and construction companies.
