Job Summary

The U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Coordinator to lead our refugee services program in Mexico. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, program management, and community engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Program Leadership: Provide strategic leadership to the USCRI Field Offices in Mexico, overseeing the development and implementation of programs and services for refugee youth and migrant populations.
  2. Staff Supervision: Directly supervise and support program and operations staff, ensuring the smooth functioning of the offices and providing guidance on program delivery.
  3. Community Outreach: Conduct community outreach to identify clients and promote services, representing USCRI in meetings with stakeholders and building relationships with key partners.
  4. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality delivery of programs and services, maintaining a safe and protected work environment and adhering to funder guidelines.
  5. Program Development: Identify and pursue new program and development opportunities through fundraising and grant writing, building a local and regional donor base.
  6. Reporting and Evaluation: Develop reports on program accomplishments, using data software and basic statistics to demonstrate progress and outcomes.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; Master's degree in business, social services administration, non-profit management, or related field preferred.
  2. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of professional work experience with supervisory and program management experience.
  3. Skills: Strong leadership experience, team-building skills, and ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  4. Language: Spoken and written Spanish and English required.
Working Conditions

The Program Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task. The position involves occasional travel and may require working in a multicultural setting.
