Job Summary:

The Audit Manager is a critical role within Citigroup Inc. responsible for overseeing moderately complex audits and assessments of the company's risk and control environments. This position requires a high level of subject matter expertise to ensure that the firm meets audit standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and deliver audit reports in a timely manner, in accordance with Internal Audit and Regulatory standards.
  • Review and approve the Business Monitoring Quarterly summary and serve as lead reviewer for all reviews.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to determine the impact on the overall control environment and audit approach.
  • Manage audit activities for a component of a product line, function, or legal entity at the regional or country level.
  • Leverage comprehensive expertise to manage a team.
  • Advise the business on change initiatives, while advancing integrated auditing concepts and technology adoption.
  • Recommend interventions to issues, propose solutions for risk and control problems, and partner with Directors and Managing Directors to develop approaches for broader corporate issues.
  • Apply in-depth understanding of Internal Audit standards, policies, and regulations to a specific product or function area.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) preferred.
  • Effective comprehension of the business side of the audit function and subject matter expertise regarding technology application.
  • Effective verbal, written, and negotiation skills.
  • Effective influencing and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of system development life cycle and experience in testing automated controls, system interfaces, and applications.
  • Experience and knowledge in auditing operating systems and databases is a plus.
  • Knowledge of local regulations applicable to financial and insurance institutions.
  • Certifications: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
