Role Overview:

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing engineers and engineering technicians involved in one or more New Product Introduction (NPI) programs. This role is crucial for meeting Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People performance objectives. By leveraging strong leadership skills and adhering to Integer's values, you will coordinate resources and equipment efficiently to meet functional goals. You will serve as the primary liaison between engineers, technicians, and other functions supporting ongoing manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of engineering technicians and engineers across various product lines or process areas within a manufacturing environment.
  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly objectives for team members while ensuring effective communication within the team.
  • Provide first-level support for resolving daily issues raised by team members, seeking cross-functional assistance when necessary.
  • Foster a culture of quality within the team, ensuring compliance with the established Quality Management System.
  • Encourage teamwork and accountability among team members and across interactions with others inside and outside Integer.
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment where team members feel supported and can communicate openly.
  • Adhere to Integer's values and comply with all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements.
  • Plan and manage program activities using cross-functional teams within a matrix organization.
  • Translate customer requirements into project scope, budget, and resource needs for engineering programs.
  • Assemble project teams, manage budgets, and ensure program milestones are met.
  • Manage new product development, manufacturing transfers, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to facilitate effective communication and minimize risks.
  • Identify program risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Foster open communication within project teams to remove barriers to success.
  • Ensure adherence to Quality and Regulatory requirements, including policies and procedures.
  • Apply Lean manufacturing techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Conduct audits of processes and products to ensure compliance with Integer's standards.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
