About the Role

The Credit and Master Data Specialist plays a crucial role in managing financial processes and maintaining accurate master data records within the finance department. This position involves evaluating financial applications, setting credit limits, monitoring credit accounts, and ensuring data integrity in master data systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate financial applications and assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
  • Establish and adjust credit limits based on financial analysis and company policies.
  • Monitor and analyze credit accounts to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Review and maintain accurate customer master data records in enterprise resource planning (ERP) or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate financial decisions and recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service teams to resolve financial-related issues.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and updates of financial and master data to reflect changes in customer status or business conditions.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on financial and master data activities as required.
  • Support audits and internal controls related to financial and master data management.

Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, Credit Coordinator, or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, credit risk assessment, and financial management practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and CRM software preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Understanding of master data management principles and practices is a plus.
Essential Qualifications (Must be evidenced at offer stage)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
