Loss Prevention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team at Servicios Comerciales Amazon Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. as a key member of our security services team.
Key Responsibilities- Metrics and Reporting: Enhance, track, and report on key performance indicators to drive performance improvements and achieve desired outcomes.
- Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements related to internal controls.
- Investigations: Assist with investigations of internal and external theft and fraud, and conduct interviews when necessary.
- Team Performance: Inspire performance excellence among security services team members.
- Organizational Alignment: Ensure understanding and alignment of performance and actions with the organization's vision and values.
- Objectives: Meet or surpass objectives that align with the security service model.
- Security Best Practices: Identify, promote, and implement security best practices in designated fulfillment centers.
- Liaison and Expertise: Serve as the department's liaison and security subject matter expert for facility management.
- Process Improvements: Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methods to drive process improvements and increase efficiency.
- Partnerships: Effectively partner with internal customers to evaluate current and future security services, processes, and initiatives.
- Data Analysis: Coordinate data collection and conduct analysis to generate strategic and tactical interpretations.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in security services, asset protection, audit, risk management, inventory control, quality assurance, or related field.
- Skills: Proficient with MS Office Professional Suite, including intermediate knowledge of Excel.
- Shift Work: Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Language: Intermediate English level (B1+).
- Lean Six Sigma: Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma concepts and certification.
- Data Analysis: Strong familiarity with databases, including querying and analyzing.
- Interviewing and Interrogation: Experience with interviewing and interrogation techniques.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or on track to obtaining a Bachelor's degree in less than one year.
- Warehouse or Distribution Center Experience: Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Workplace Violence and Business Continuity: Awareness and implementation of best practices related to workplace violence and business continuity.
- Physical Security Systems: Familiarity with physical security systems and investigation techniques.
- Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical Experience: Demonstrated ability to work independently with remote supervision and analyze performance-based data.
