About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Autoliv's Technical Center. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for directing all phases of program development by leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with multiple departments within Autoliv and at customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Direct the successful execution of Autoliv projects by driving cross-functional teams to meet launch KPIs (flawless launch).
  2. Manage Project Budget: Responsible for managing project budget, including engineering income, development budget, EBIT uplift targets, etc. Utilize financial acumen and focus on profitability improvements for the projects.
  3. Develop and Track Schedules: Responsible for building and maintaining detailed schedules, tracking deliverables, and achieving milestone targets (internal and external).
  4. Customer Communication: Direct communication and interaction with customers for project-related matters.
  5. Project Execution: Coordinate project execution in accordance with the Autoliv Product Development System (APDS) to meet all critical internal, customer, and manufacturing milestones.
  6. Proactive Mindset: Practice a proactive mindset – have the ability to see what is coming, initiate the team to start on time, and escalate when support is needed in order to deliver on time.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (preferably Engineering - ME, EE, IE, etc.).
  2. Experience: Previous experience in automotive product development and project launches (as cross-functional team member or leader).
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Project.
  4. Personal Qualities: Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced work environment with skilled prioritization of tasks and ability to make timely decisions.
  5. Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with capability to dig into data and drive conclusions.
  6. Travel Requirements: Ability and willingness to travel nationally and/or internationally, as required.
  7. Language Skills: Basic knowledge of Spanish language is a plus.
