Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics and Packaging Manager to join our team at Johnson & Johnson Sa De Cv. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating all manufacturing activities and programs within the Logistics and Packaging area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will manage the day-to-day manufacturing and interact with the Materials Management team in their areas of responsibility.
  • You will participate in the development and implementation of transfer plans, support the implementation of new technology and products in the logistics and packaging area, and establish G&O and develop plans for your direct managers assigned to the Logistics and Packaging area.
  • You will develop, maintain, and improve all Business Processes under your supervision, participate in the day-to-day operations with responsibility for packaging of finished product, and monitor and project inventories in Juárez, consistent with quality control specifications and production programs.
  • You will develop and participate in strategic decisions of the plant, its division, and the company.
Requirements
  • You will have full technical and administrative responsibility to interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate your areas of responsibility.
  • You will establish operational goals and objectives in line with the corporation's strategies and prepare programs for projects and coordinate activities to ensure the specifications of corporate goals and objectives are achieved.
  • You will provide a leadership role in the development and implementation of world-class manufacturing standards (TAI, JAI, CFM) and maintain liaison between individuals and areas within or around your organization, with responsibility to act independently on techniques or issues related to your area.
  • You will implement target systems and procedures to ensure that equipment and machinery meet the operational performance and utilization required, review machinery and equipment requirements based on production schedules, and determine and monitor the implementation of capital goods improvements.
  • You will ensure the introduction of new products in compliance with operational G&O, keep an eye on the master plan as it relates to the IGF, and understand Materials and Logistics Management.
  • You will identify needs and coordinate the development and support of systems, such as Materials Management, Quality Assurance, Human Resources, Information Management, and Interdependent partnering.
  • You will ensure the right level of manufacturing, materials, and personnel, develop all capital investment and operational expense budgets that support business needs, and provide analysis of variance and corrective actions.
  • You will foster relationships by influencing the entire organization to unify criteria, manage the operation to ensure the achievement of CIP and COGS initiatives, and understand and implement methods of Signature of Quality (SOQ), Lean Mfg., and Process Excellence (six sigma).
  • You will provide leadership to meet the challenges of Diversity and be responsible for the development and implementation of environmental, safety, and health programs.
