Job Overview

The Billing Dispute Specialist I plays a vital role in maintaining excellent customer service throughout all communications. This individual will work directly with customers, internal employees, and carrier partners to answer questions and resolve issues.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Researching and resolving billing-related inquiries and discrepancies
  • Providing detailed explanations to customers regarding discrepancies, suggestions/solutions
  • Submitting disputes to carrier partners for resolution; maintaining follow-up with both carrier and customer until resolution is met
  • Submitting credit requests for customers and sales staff as necessary
