Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist - Azure

Ntt Data Services is seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist - Azure to join our team in Mexico. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing Microsoft Azure solutions to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy Microsoft Azure solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Support and optimize SCCM for efficient software deployment, patch management, and system configuration across the organization.
  • Manage and enhance SolarWinds for network monitoring, ensuring the reliability and performance of critical infrastructure components.
  • Work closely with IT teams to streamline software deployment processes, system configurations, and compliance management using SCCM.
  • Monitor and optimize SolarWinds configurations to provide real-time visibility into network performance and health.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in Microsoft Azure, SCCM, and SolarWinds, and apply best practices to enhance our IT environment.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies to enhance the organization's endpoint management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Server and Networking principles pertaining to enterprise environments.
  • Perform maintenance on existing operating systems.
  • Evaluate, engineer, test, recommend, and implement secure infrastructures.
  • Act as a resource for system escalation issues.
  • Document platform standards and processes for ongoing operations.
  • Gather business requirements for system design and validate recommended solutions for Change Management.
  • Schedule and coordinate installation and maintenance of software/hardware on the network and ensure compatibility of all communications and computer hardware/software.
  • Perform root cause analysis on failed components and implement corrective measures.
  • Provide ongoing information to leadership, customers, and peers regarding enhancements, innovations, and solutions.
  • Responsible for following company-specific systems engineering standards.
  • Executive support technical escalations.
  • RCA for high-severity issues, CRQ deployments during weekends and holidays.
  • On-call support: shift for all required work and done during weekends.
  • Provide technical documentation and training to L1 and Service Desk.
  • Operational resource for internal and external projects.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience with Windows OS, user administration, patch, IIS log files, Performance Monitors, and System Services management.
  • Knowledge of integrating to back-end systems, including Documentum.
  • Responsible for complex testing and analysis of all elements of computer systems.
  • Analyzes and provides innovative solutions to system engineering and design projects.
  • Represents the organization in front of critical audiences, such as clients/customers/vendors/executives.
  • Thorough understanding and management of customer business needs and expectations.
  • Candidates must have exceptional customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Must have sufficient technical depth to communicate with development and other internal organizations at a peer level as well as convey technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
  • Possess the ability to work independently with minimal management supervision and with a global team of engineers.
  • Strong team player with ability to work in a team and as individual contributor.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Fast learner, flexible, and able to work on multiple tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Possess 8/10 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Proven experience as a Microsoft Azure Engineer with expertise in Windows Server, SCCM, and SolarWinds.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services, architecture, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SCCM for software distribution, patch management, and configuration management.
  • Familiarity with SolarWinds for network monitoring and performance management.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills for configuration tasks and deployments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work a 24x7 on-call shift, with primary business hours Canadian Eastern Standard Time.

This position requires a valid Canadian Security Clearance. Candidates can be guided through the application process for this clearance but must successfully obtain the clearance in order to fill the position.
