**About the Role**
The Carrier organization is seeking a high-potential candidate to join our SAP Finance team as a Senior Manager, Business Systems Architect. Key responsibilities include overall responsibility for SAP Finance system architecture, proposing efficient business processes to meet or exceed business goals and objectives, and acting as the integration layer between business and technology teams to deliver a seamless solution.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead implementation projects in accordance with Carrier IT's methodologies and governance model, collaborating with other IT teams to ensure solution designs are well-coordinated and aligned to the overall ERP enterprise architecture.
- Design, develop, and test system solutions to address business requirements, in alignment with the global solution template.
- Configure the Finance module to achieve business goals, including integration points with other SAP modules or other applications, following SAP standard methodologies.
- Develop functional specifications for custom developments and collaborate with the development team to get those built and tested.
- Analyze existing business processes and business data, providing proactive and constructive recommendations for improvement.
- Create solution prototypes when teams are working on future design models.
- Control solution development to ensure standards are being observed.
**Requirements:**
- Experience in defining and maintaining global templates and playbooks for Finance scenarios.
- Business process analysis and redesign experience, with strong business analysis skills, process mapping, business process redesign, and implementation.
- Experience in design, delivery, and support of SAP Central Finance (CFIN) and S/4 HANA environments.
- Leadership experience in the Finance workstream for an ECC/S/4 HANA Finance end-to-end implementation for a global, manufacturing company.
- Expertise in configuration and implementation of Financial Accounting (FI), Managerial Accounting (CO), and Central Finance (CFIN), with understanding of integration with other SAP modules.
- Deep understanding of Corporate Finance Processes supported by Central Finance, such as central payments, open item management, credit management, and shared services.
- A conceptual thinker with professional skills to create compelling solutions, considering business objectives, regulatory requirements, and technical feasibility.
