**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Cost Estimator to join our team at International Automotive Components. As a Cost Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing capacity and capital requirements, forecasting project costs, and gathering details to estimate all production costs according to specifications.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Evaluate engineering changes economically and follow up
* Prepare capital approval files for plants
* Prepare saving studies
* Prepare Kaizen and Fresh eyes events
* Support corporate in new business quotes
* Analyze new projects
**Requirements**
* Conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
* Knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others
* Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience
* Solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions
* Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams
* Explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5's
* Advanced English
* Knowledge of ERP System (AS400 / QAD is a plus)
* Knowledge of EC and new projects, analysis and revision of Cost Cards
