PepsiCo, a leading food and beverage company, offers a challenging opportunity for a skilled professional to join their team as a Customer Data Steward. With over 200 countries worldwide consuming our iconic brands every day, we are looking for an individual with a strong background in data management and governance.
The Customer Data Steward will be responsible for promoting data accuracy and adherence to PepsiCo's global governance practices, driving acceptance of enterprise data standards and policies across various business segments. This role requires effective collaboration with stakeholders, including the Governance Council, to ensure alignment with the Enterprise Data Governance established standards.
We are offering a competitive salary of $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
About the Role
- Promote data accuracy and adherence to PepsiCo defined global governance practices
- Drive acceptance of PepsiCo's enterprise data standards and policies across various business segments
- Maintain and advise relevant stakeholders on data governance-related matters in specific domains (Customer, Material, Vendor, Finance, Consumer)
- Provide recommendations and supporting documentation for new or proposed data standards, business rules, and policies
- Advise on various projects and initiatives to ensure that any data-related changes and dependencies are identified, communicated, and managed
- Represent market-specific needs in Sector data councils and above
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience working with data in the specific Customer/Order to Cash Customer domain, associated processes, involved systems, and data usage
- Ability to partner with both business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization of operational information and execution of enterprise-wide data governance policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of workflow, monitoring, and reporting functionality
