About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Pricing Specialist to join our team at Avantor. As a key member of our pricing operations team, you will be responsible for extracting pricing information from various sources, creating customer conditions in ERP systems, and ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract pricing information from SAP, databases, and internal systems
- Create customer conditions in ERP systems, adhering to set policies and procedures
- Prepare scheduled and on-demand reports
- Ensure timely delivery of tasks and reports in a clear and concise format
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to convey information clearly and concisely
- Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines using strong organizational and time management skills
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations when handling sensitive information
- Contribute to process documentations, including reviewing, updating, editing, and translating documents
- Identify root causes and develop action plans to control and improve processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field
- Master's degree is an added advantage
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and SharePoint
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Access is an added advantage
- Ability to think analytically, critically, and quantitatively
- Support quality audits and knowledge of ISO documentation
- Ability to handle training and development
- Diligence and a natural aptitude for numbers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and business acumen
- Customer-centric and ambitious person attitude
- Ability to manage time and priorities, set timelines, and coordinate tasks
- Teamwork skills to work independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
