Senior Manager, Pharmacovigilance Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of pharmacovigilance professionals in managing safety data and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement pharmacovigilance strategies to support clinical trials and post-marketing surveillance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of pharmacovigilance activities with other business functions.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on pharmacovigilance best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of safety data to clients and regulatory authorities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors to ensure high-quality pharmacovigilance services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies to ensure the team remains competitive and compliant.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related or life science field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
