Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Data Science and Innovation to lead our global initiatives in Data Science and AI. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead global initiatives in Data Science and AI to contribute to solving unmet medical needs in collaboration with various stakeholders.

  • Shape the future direction of our organization based on the overall organization strategy provided by business leadership.
  • Assign to US iLab product delivery, focusing on defining, designing, building, and deploying US iLab products.
  • Support the development of US iLab technology strategy to create customer experience and customer engagement product/services roadmaps.
  • Enable cross-functional teams based on defined US iLab products structure and identify technologies to address customer needs.
  • Co-create and execute US iLab products to respond to business challenges.
  • Drive end-to-end functional architecture and system integration of US iLab products across processes, data, and technologies.
  • Demonstrate value and impact of US iLab products and support delivering financial targets.
  • Guide US functions to enable and adopt existing and emerging US iLab products.
  • Collaborate with Architecture & Integration and Data & Analytics management teams to ensure standard technologies are leveraged for US iLab products when appropriate.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Partner with business leadership and other key stakeholders to set the US iLab technology roadmap, ensuring individual products work together to create business value for the defined customer.
  • Have end-to-end accountability for services and products delivery across US iLab business areas.
  • Serve as a point of escalation, review, and approval for key issues and decisions.
  • Drive and facilitate the approval of US iLab products portfolio investment plans.
  • Work on continuous improvement with the cross-functional delivery team.
  • Exhibit a strategic product management mindset necessary to establish the US iLab product domain with respective business product owner counterparts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor driving decisions, priorities, and relevant US iLab product information with both business stakeholders and colleagues across DD&IT.
  • Proactively share knowledge of US iLab technology risks with business.
  • Ensure coordination across US iLab product roadmaps, oversee timelines and budget across teams, and be responsible for removing blockages impacting the US iLab product portfolio.
  • Develop an environment that fosters a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing organization where product management is leveraged to create value for the business.
  • Advocate product management and shape the operating model to ensure business value creation throughout the product life cycle.
  • Support the product teams to continually learn and advance maturity of the teams and broader organization; solve for roadblocks and advocate for product teams.
  • Ensure agile ways of working are applied for US iLab product development, delivery, and lifecycle.

Key Performance Indicators/Measures of Success:

  • Business KPIs measuring the impact of the US iLab product portfolio.
  • A valued, trusted, and well-respected partner for US iLab technologies.
  • DDIT partnering to experiment new technologies and deliver at scale solutions to stay ahead of the competition.

Job Dimension:

  • Complexity: Accountable for product delivery aligned with multiple business owners/functions across IM US markets.
  • Influence: Manages stakeholders in IM US organizations at senior level and drives product mindset.
  • Size: Manages 3+ external vendors and indirectly leads (dotted line) the DDIT team of +5 externals.
