Senior Network Architect

The Senior Network Engineer will work closely with the Global IT Engineering team, collaborating with infrastructure and support engineers to design, build, and maintain the company's network infrastructure. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end accountability for the lifecycle of connectivity infrastructure of the company's products, including architecture, engineering, delivery, and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Design customized solutions to support business objectives, wherever applicable.
- Execute high-level design and low-level design for products connectivity solutions.
- Assist in the development of networking architecture and global standards, including hardware/software, protocol, transport, and topology standards.
- Design, build, and improve peripheral network infrastructure and platform through the execution of projects and changes based on standards and reaching all quality, time, cost, scope, availability, and reliability parameters.
- Support the enterprise network infrastructure, including troubleshooting incidents in a timely manner, handling network changes, participating in problem management processes, including root cause analysis and configuration management.
- Provide reliable and stable infrastructure via best practices, standards, simplified support models, automated processes, operational excellence, and outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Effective monitoring, implement a robust control and delivery of solutions services to identify issues proactively within the agreed SLAs using different methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Configuration, maintenance, and support of network solutions for the company's products, including data centers and third-party vendors.
- Configuration and maintenance of network equipment from multiple vendors, including Juniper, Cisco, F5, Fortinet, AWS, Palo Alto, and Infoblox.
- Strong working knowledge in L2 (Switching) protocols, including STP, VLAN, LACP, Stacking, Bundle Ethernet, and Port Security.
- Strong working knowledge in Layer 3 (Routing) protocols, including OSPF, IS-IS, BGP (iBGP, eBGP), IPv6, and VXLAN.
- Ability to implement protocols and solutions to provide fast convergence, redundancy, and high availability, such as HSRP, VRRP, VRF.
- Solid experience configuring and implementing filtering secure protocols, including ACL, Prefix-list, Route-map, PBR, GRE, IPSEC, TLS/EAP, VPN, and DMVPN.
- Demonstrated knowledge/experience in WAN network environments, including MPLS, L3VPN, L2VPN, MP-BGP, EVC, SD-WAN, and Carrier Ethernet.
- Ability to implement network protocol services, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NTP, HTTPS, SCP, FTP, SNMP, AAA, NAT, Multicast, and VoIP.
- Knowledge of data center spine-and-leaf architecture and progressive knowledge/experience managing projects of increasing size and complexity, including the utilization of project planning and project dashboard tools.
- Load-balancing (F5 Big-IP LTM/GTM) design experience and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Fortigate and Palo Alto Next Generation firewalls.
- Functional knowledge of network management/observability tools, including Panorama, Prometheus/Grafana, SolarWinds, Cisco ThousandEyes, etc.
- Knowledge of infrastructure governance fundamentals, including capacity planning, risk and vulnerability management, incident and change management.
- Experience with developing and deploying cluster data centers, cloud hardware, and infrastructure.
- Scripting or programming experience using Bash, Perl, Python, and automation tools, such as Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Active certifications in technologies, such as CCNA/CCNP Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, AWS, Juniper, HCA HCP Huawei, and Palo Alto.
- Hands-on experience in Mexico financial services networks and some of its main products, SPEI, DIMO.
- Knowledge and experience with cloud networking principles in AWS.
- Knowledge and experience with key network security protocols, such as IDS/IPS, URL filtering, and SIEM.

They will also be responsible for supporting the enterprise network infrastructure, including troubleshooting incidents in a timely manner, handling network changes, and participating in problem management processes.
We offer a hybrid work model with cycles that can be from two to three months according to the business of expertise. For every eight or twelve weeks of remote work, one will be at the office.
