Job Title: Customs Generalist

Eaton's ES AMER Sector division is seeking a skilled Customs Generalist to provide support to the Customs Manager in ensuring compliance with Mexican Customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure temporary inventory and import/export activities meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update compliance documents to reflect current regulations and procedures.
  • Manage and run reports for monthly reconciliation related to Annex 24/31.
  • Develop and implement strategies to integrate regional content into finished products.
  • Audit NAFTA Certificates of Origin and Affidavits of the Manufacturer of Raw Material Suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Trade Compliance and/or Customs Law.
  • 1-5 years of experience in the field.
  • Fluent in English-Spanish.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP transactions.
  • Knowledge of annex 31/24 system and customs software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to improve and update customs software.
