Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Mexico City. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and provide exceptional service.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues in public areas and guest rooms.
  • Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested.
  • Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas, including debris, room service food and beverage trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash.
  • Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment.
Requirements
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.
  • Ability to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.
