Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Residences Mexico City. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our residents and guests by ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver newspapers, packages, and laundry to residents and guests
  • Man the service elevator and transport luggage and groceries as needed
  • Perform regular inspections of the building and grounds to identify safety issues and maintenance needs
  • Remove trash and recyclables from each floor and the compactor rooms
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and materials and balance stock levels to meet demand
  • Perform scheduled service routines for assigned areas and maintain the overall appearance and maintenance of common areas
  • Post caution signs to limit traffic when necessary and contact other departments for urgent repairs
  • Respond promptly to resident and guest requests and identify and report maintenance issues
  • Perform emergency response service actions as requested by management
Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to push and pull work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
  • Ability to move up and down a ladder
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift
