Job Title: Service Center Director Business Operations

This role is responsible for directing the service center operations team to achieve excellence and performance that meet world-class standards. The Director will oversee all aspects of service center operations, including driving operational efficiency, exceeding customer satisfaction, achieving financial commitments, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success as an operations management leader with at least 10 years' experience in a similar role. They will possess demonstrated knowledge of Standard Work, Daily Management, 5S/Visual Management, TPM, Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing quality, safety, and material policies, nominating management staff, and supervising the progress of corrective actions.

A Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline, such as Aerospace, Mechanical, or Manufacturing, is required. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.

This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. The Director will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business results and ensure alignment with company objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Direct the service center operations team to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain quality, safety, and material policies.
  • Nominate and manage the service center team.
  • Supervise the progress of corrective actions and review overall results in terms of quality.
  • Assure the competency of all personnel including management personnel has been assessed.
  • Perform and assure that customer-reported difficulties are investigated/resolved.
  • Implement the quality program, follow up and assure all quality issues are solved.
  • Provide resources to establish secure and protected materials storage areas.
