Nemak is seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to lead the Engineering Academy Americas Agenda. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving technical learning programs that empower our engineering teams to excel and innovate.
Main Responsibilities
- Leadership of Engineering Academy Agenda: Spearhead the Engineering Academy Americas Agenda, setting a strategic direction for technical learning initiatives across the region.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
- Program Design and Knowledge Management: Support the design and development of technical programs in areas such as Process Development and Control, Leadership and Professional Development, Sand Casting, Melting, Assembly, and Health, Safety, and Environment.
- Talent Identification and Accelerate Program: Identify high-potential individuals for participation in the Academies, contributing to the development of future technical leaders.
- Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement: Support the development of Nemak's problem-solving capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Budget Management and Learning Technologies: Manage the training budget for the Mexico Region, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Learning and Development Specialist, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.
- Skills: Understanding of engineering principles and technical training methodologies, excellent organizational and project management skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and exceptional communication and presentation skills.
