The Associate Technology Specialist is an entry-level position that plays a critical role in our company's success. As a member of our team, you will work closely with experienced professionals to develop and implement cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage and mature risk assessment and compliance documentation and processes to ensure alignment with industry standards.
  • Maintain and update cybersecurity policies and procedures to ensure they are effective and up-to-date.
  • Mature tool configuration and feature utilization to optimize security operations.
  • Integrate tools to automate critical response tasks and improve incident response times.
  • Evaluate and implement patches, updates, and ongoing maintenance for tools to ensure they are secure and reliable.
  • Develop detailed implementation, configuration, and engineering documentation to support security operations.
  • Plan, develop, and implement new security devices or services to enhance our cybersecurity posture.
  • Identify, create, and mature cybersecurity operations processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist with forensic investigations and incident response team (CIRT) activities to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.
  • Participate in incident runbook development to ensure that our team is prepared to respond to a wide range of security incidents.
  • Assign work to the Security Operations Center (SOC) for remediation and ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Escalate pertinent findings in a timely manner to ensure that security incidents are addressed promptly.
  • Support Compliance managers in providing Cybersecurity artifacts to ensure that our company is in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Align information cybersecurity operations with NIST and ISO 27001 requirements to ensure that our security practices are aligned with industry best practices.

**Essential Qualifications and Education**

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, such as computer science, cybersecurity, or information assurance.
  • 4 years of relevant experience in IT security governance, risk, and compliance processes.
  • Aptitude for IT security governance, risk, and compliance processes, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
