About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Layout Designer to join our team at NXP Semiconductors. As a Junior Layout Designer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality IC layouts to multiple product lines, addressing the automotive and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and abstract layout, physical topologies, and design methodologies for IC layouts
  • Properly tag IC layout databases to ensure accurate and efficient design processes
  • Collaborate with team members to build and enhance design knowledge and improve workflow
  • Floor planning, power design, signal routing strategy, EMIR awareness, parasitic optimization for layout blocks from schematics
  • Apply Analog Layout techniques to ensure designs meet performance requirements with minimal area and good yield
  • Participate in building and enhancing layout flow for faster, higher-quality design processes
  • Verify designs for DRC/LVS/ERC/ANT/ESD/DFM
  • Complete all design quality checks and data quality checks
  • Work closely with design teams to ensure the success of the whole product
  • May participate in research programs to implement new ideas for future products and flows
  • Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English
