Quality Assurance Training Coordinator

Location/Division Specific Information:
The Medical Communications division at PPD offers worldwide opportunities to support biopharma and biotech clients. Our team is diverse and dedicated, directly involved in educating customers and enhancing patient health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate training and quality initiatives. Schedule onboarding for new hires, identify training deficiencies, and create and implement training programs to foster continuous improvement. Conduct quality assessments of staff interactions and documentation, coordinating corrective action plans as necessary. Ensure adherence to corporate, departmental, and client policies, including standard operating procedures and relevant health authority regulations.
A Day in the Life:
- Plan, develop, and deliver training sessions and materials for all personnel.
- Conduct training on products or disease states as required.
- Monitor training effectiveness and observe sessions to identify trends and improve employee performance.
- Integrate training with client needs while navigating organizational differences.
- Maintain training documentation in a state ready for audits.
- Review staff work for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with organizational and client standards.
- Analyze quality trends and provide feedback to management, documenting quality events and developing improvement initiatives.
- Support program-related audits and assist with departmental projects as needed.
Keys to Success:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- In-depth understanding of applicable health regulations.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and drug information.
- Ability to conduct thorough reviews of calls and documentation.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in digital tools, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to train and mentor colleagues.
- Excellent language proficiency, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work collaboratively or independently as required.
