Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join our team at Micron Mexico Design Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analog circuit design, with experience in mixed-signal design being a plus. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing, designing, optimizing, and verifying block-level circuits for all DRAM-related projects.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and optimizing analog and digital CMOS circuits for various applications
  • Collaborating with Product Engineering to verify silicon performance vs simulation performance
  • Working with Process integration and transistor modeling personnel to design circuits for next-generation process nodes
  • Providing layout supervision and optimizing layout throughout post-layout simulations

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in analog IC design, including regulator, charge pump, oscillator, current reference, bandgap, and comparator design
  • Past circuit debug experience through Product Engineering or equivalent
  • Proficiency in UNIX and CADENCE design environment (simulation, schematic entry, SPF extraction)
  • Experience in circuit verification and optimization, including layout verification and parasitic extractions

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 10+ years of experience in mixed-mode or analog circuit design. A highly motivated and self-starter mindset, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently and in teams are essential.

Salary Estimate

$120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
