About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at Palo IT. As a Data Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing our data infrastructure, leading and mentoring Data Engineers, and designing and evolving our data architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Architecture Design: Develop and maintain data architecture aligned with organizational strategies and define and document data structures (schemas, models, diagrams).
  • Data Management and Storage: Select and implement data management technologies (databases, cloud storage, big data solutions) and ensure data storage systems are performant, secure, and scalable.
  • Data Integration: Design and manage data integration from multiple sources and develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data transformation and loading.
  • Data Security and Governance: Implement security policies to protect data integrity and confidentiality and define and oversee data governance policies and compliance standards.
  • Optimization and Performance: Monitor and optimize data system performance and resolve bottlenecks and performance issues.
  • Collaboration and Advisory: Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand data needs and provide technical advice and support for data management decisions.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on data management technologies and lead initiatives for continuous improvement of data infrastructure and processes.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in defining architectures
  • Experience with Data Lake, Cloud, and Big Data technologies
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
