About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Health Outcomes Research Specialist to join our team in Mexico. As a key member of our Real-World Insights (RWI) business, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality research contributions to client solutions within the pharmaceutical and associated industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop studies related to Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) business areas, including health economic modeling, market access strategy, and value proposition.
  • Work independently or as part of a project team on defined tasks, collaborating with supervision as needed.
  • Participate in business development initiatives, such as producing draft proposals based on clients' RFPs and supporting information, conducting internal training, and presenting materials to IQVIA colleagues.
  • Assist in project management and client liaison activities, attending client and external meetings, and presenting own research and analyses.
  • Develop prospective or retrospective outcome research protocols, statistical analysis plans, and reports.
  • Conduct local data sourcing, literature searches, data collection and generation, and produce supporting materials for complex economic models.
  • Draft, review, submit, and present abstracts, posters, and manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals or conference proceedings based on outcome research or economic models.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree in health outcomes research is a plus.
  • 1-2 years relevant work experience in health outcomes research and/or academic research experience.
  • Data analysis skills and thorough understanding of the Mexican healthcare system, including dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills, effective written and oral communication.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills and good knowledge of medical terminology and epidemiological measures.
  • BASIC TO INTERMEDIATE KNOWLEDGE OF STATISTICS AND INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED ENGLISH LEVEL.

About the Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
