Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Packaging Optimization Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing packaging processes and costs, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement packaging optimization strategies to reduce material costs and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new packaging solutions.
  • Analyze packaging data to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for process changes.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive packaging optimization initiatives.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of packaging optimization initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing and delivery terms.

Required Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • 1-3 years of experience in production, container logistics, packaging design, or packaging savings analysis, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Windchill systems.
  • Knowledge of packaging analysis and savings, as well as automotive standards on returnable and disposable packaging sizes and designs.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary: $85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
