Belden is seeking a highly skilled NPI Engineer to join our team in the development and implementation of new product introductions. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for managing the New Product Introduction process, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Product Development: Manage the Sample C of each new project from R&D to ensure manufacturability and quality.
- Process Instructions: Create process instructions to train process engineers and direct labor on new products.
- Quality Assurance: Assist the quality engineer in developing and implementing testing for new products.
- Customer Order Follow-up: Follow up on customer orders for new products for 6 months, maintaining quality and process records to ensure capable design.
- Process Improvement: Identify process and equipment improvements to reduce scrap and work more efficiently.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (industrial, mechatronic, or similar).
- Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in the engineering department, leading teams and/or projects. Experience in optical fiber.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Leading skills.
- Logical thinker, diligent, and resilient.
- Analytical and data-driven.
- Communication skills.
- Language:
- Spanish: Native.
- English: Ability to read and write emails and reports. Ability to maintain a work conversation with an English-speaking person.
