About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Storage Architect and Resilience Engineer to join our team at Micron. This role is perfect for a highly skilled professional with a passion for designing and implementing innovative storage solutions.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining, designing, engineering, and implementing storage and backup hardware and solutions that meet or exceed business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Storage Solution Design and Implementation: Work with customers to gather requirements and propose, engineer, and provision storage and backup solutions that meet their needs.
  • System Setup and Standardization: Manage system setup and standardize features and usage to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Documentation and Testing: Create documentation, testing, training, and post-deployment assessments to ensure that all systems are thoroughly tested and validated.
  • Vendor Management: Research and partner with vendors to select products that best meet company needs and manage relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and support.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 6 years of experience managing storage solutions, preferably in a NetApp environment.
  • Strong knowledge of data center architecture and automation technologies.
  • Experience working with ISILON Storage and other enterprise storage systems.
  • Strong understanding of the OSI model and storage transport protocols such as NFS, iSCSI.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
