Job SummaryWe are seeking a Principal Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for gathering technical project requirements and specifications from clients and internal stakeholders.
You will translate business rules and stakeholder requirements into project specifications that leverage internal and external systems. You will lead the design of data ingestion and transformation systems and processes.
You will support development teams by developing technical and architectural plans, generating documentation, and assembling presentation material that define project technical approaches, constraints, and milestones.
You will engage directly with technical stakeholders to communicate project updates throughout the production lifecycle.
You will coordinate internal and external resources to ensure efficient and timely delivery schedules.
You will independently prototype tools and resources for quick-turn proof-of-concept scenarios, troubleshooting, and project development.
You will manage multiple, complex production requirements, workstreams, and timelines, ensuring that project outcomes match or exceed stakeholder expectations.
You will mentor and coach junior team members across the business.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Principal Solution Architect with a strong background in software engineering, system design, and technical leadership.
You should have a strong understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), database architecture, and performance.
You should have experience working with AWS, including ECS, Lambda, SQS/Kinesis, and experience with Apollo GraphQL is a plus.
You should have experience developing and scaling REST APIs for various platforms and developing low-latency, high-availability applications.
You should have the ability to deliver within a fast-paced agile software development environment and experience working with serverless microservice environments.
You should have familiarity with Domain Driven Design principles and a proven track record of collaborating with senior engineering staff and driving architecture decisions.
You should have experience identifying and executing on initiatives to increase code quality and consistency across the engineering organization.
You should have a passion for creating and enhancing developer tooling and experience starting projects from scratch as well as jumping into existing architecture.
You should have a desire to keep up-to-date on the latest industry techniques and trends.
