We are seeking a skilled High-Level COBOL Developer to join our team in CDMX, Ciudad de México (MX).

Job Description

This role entails designing and developing high-quality COBOL applications for financial services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement solutions using DB2, SQL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and IBM MQ.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy COBOL applications for financial services
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance
  • Develop and maintain documentation for code and processes
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues with COBOL applications
  • Work with the development team to implement new technologies and improve existing ones
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with COBOL programming
  • Experience working with DB2, SQL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and IBM MQ
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
