Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Age of Learning, Inc. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting our procurement process, reviewing and approving employee expense reports, and performing various accounting close activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and approve purchase orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Review and approve employee expense reports for accuracy and adherence to company policy
  • Perform various month-end and year-end accounting close activities, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Ensure financial information and schedules are accurate and maintained in accordance with US GAAP
  • Perform various projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience working for a US company
  • Bilingual English/Business Spanish (written and verbal) in a business setting
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in US accounting
  • Highly proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central software and Concur is a plus
  • Deep analytical skills and attention to detail; able to multi-task on multiple projects with varying deadlines
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
