Job Summary:

The Stock Controller plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store by managing inventory, shipping, and receiving procedures. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with the sales team and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels, including UPT updates, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including repairs and returns of merchandise.
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Partner with the sales team to maintain accurate inventory levels and support store operations.
  • Adhere to all company operational policies and procedures, as established by the Retail Operations Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of retail operations experience.
  • Prior experience in luxury retail is preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful inventory count, maintenance, and availability reports.
  • Proficient computer knowledge, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Results-driven and customer-focused individual.
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to drive a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with numbers.
  • Ability to read and analyze reports and perform fundamental calculations.
  • Ability to move or handle merchandise and boxes throughout the store, generally weighing 0-40 pounds.
  • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
  • Ability to work varied hours and days to ensure store is fully operational.
  • Ability to stand and walk for majority of a 40-hour work week.
