Job Overview

As a key member of our Manufacturing and Process Development Engineering Teams, you'll play a pivotal role in driving excellence in new product development projects, leveraging LEANPD principles to optimize processes and systems.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with Product Development Engineering to optimize designs and piece parts for manufacturability, ensuring seamless integration of processes and systems.
  2. Design, develop, and qualify tooling and manual/automate processes for high-speed products, adhering to TE quality and production standards.
  3. Implement new manufacturing technologies to enhance process and tolerance control, driving innovation and improvement.
  4. Lead the successful transfer of new products from Engineering to Manufacturing Operations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  5. Drive LEANPD driven new product development projects, ensuring strong impact and adherence to Lean principles throughout the process.
  6. Develop and maintain expertise in high-speed manufacturing processes, including cutting, stamping, molding, and cable assembly.
  7. Cross-functional collaboration with Product Development Engineering, Program Management, Quality Assurance, Production, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements
  1. Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering Degree or equivalent.
  2. 8 years of work experience in high-speed cable manufacturing, specifically cable assemblies for data centers, AI, and supercomputing.
  3. Experience with applicable systems (SAP, TLM, CAD) and familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  4. Strong understanding of cable making technology, stamping and plating technology, HSG molding technology, metal and plastic raw material characteristics.
  5. Expertise in product tolerance analysis, stability using verify data analysis, and processes such as CPK.
  6. Ability to provide DFM, SOP, PFMEA, BOP, CTAR required for each phase according to the project schedule.
