Thermal Engineer Role at Intel

We are seeking a skilled Thermal Engineer to join our Data Center and Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) group at Intel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing mechanical systems, equipment, and Silicon packaging.

Your primary focus will be on conducting feasibility studies and testing new and modified designs, as well as directing support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing, and prototype fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment, and Silicon packaging
  • Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs
  • Direct support personnel in design preparation, testing, and prototype fabrication
Requirements:
  • Advanced English language proficiency
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to positively influence stakeholders and think proactively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Heat transfer fundamentals
  • Thermal simulation software experience (e.g., Flotherm or Icepak)
  • Hands-on experience with thermal testing
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, LabVIEW, and statistical methodologies
  • Experience with feedback control of dynamic systems
  • Fundamental electrical engineering knowledge
  • Professional experience in mechanical design
