About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Solutions Architect to join our team at Sequoia Connect. As a key member of our data and analytics team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end AI-based solutions that drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement AI Solutions: Develop and integrate data and analytics information systems to meet the company's needs, leveraging cloud-based platforms and microservices APIs.
  • Technical Leadership: Assess the architecture of the current system and work with technical staff to recommend improvements, resolve technical problems, and provide guidance to development teams.
  • AI Tool Selection and Deployment: Evaluate and select the appropriate AI tools and ML models for identified business cases, define data gathering and pre-processing strategies, and deploy production-ready AI models.
  • Cloud Architecture and Microservices: Develop flexible architectures based on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and implement responsive, non-blocking microservices APIs as core backends for diverse client applications (mobile, web, IoT).
  • Research and Development: Continually research current and emerging technologies, proposing changes where needed, and assess the business impact of technical choices.
  • Documentation and Standards: Define, present, and defend the rationale for prepared solution designs, including security and cost aspects, and create and maintain documentation related to solution design.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in IT.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
  • Higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect in GCP or other cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
  • Expertise in AI and Machine Learning, specifically in Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing.
  • Strong knowledge of Deep Learning Frameworks and Foundational Models, Generative AI, and MLOps.
  • Prior experience defining and implementing flexible architectures and microservices APIs.
  • Proficiency in engineering and software architecture design.
  • Experience in creating clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Efficient communication skills, able to translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights.
Desired
  • Expertise in Google Big Query.
  • Previous experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of design and integration patterns for applications and data platforms.
Language
  • Advanced Oral English (C1 level according to the Common European Framework).
  • Native Spanish.
