Job Summary

Parker Wellbore is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of drilling equipment, hydraulic systems, and diesel engines. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to mentor and train junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and repair drilling equipment, hydraulic systems, and diesel engines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and provide regular updates to management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure Parker Wellbore remains at the forefront of drilling technology.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in drilling equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems, as well as hand and power tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and vendors.
  • Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and/or ramps while carrying tools, requiring a reasonable degree of physical stamina and agility.
