Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced and entrepreneurial individual to join our founding team as a Head of Credit Card Operations and Strategy.
This role will involve leading the operations of our credit card product, including collections, customer service, and fraud management.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing large consumer (or micro-business) credit card and loan portfolios.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute initiatives to improve collections and reduce delinquencies
- Review and approve loan and credit card applicants, including conducting fraud and credit reviews
- Oversee customer service and maintain fast response times and high-quality service
- Refine and adjust our credit policies and improve our fraud controls
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting across loan cohorts, track KPIs, and conduct other financial analysis to support the business
- Successful track record of leadership roles in the credit card and lending industry
- Experience in collections, fraud detection, customer service, and operations
- Expertise in financial analysis and modeling
- Fluent in business English and Spanish
- Previous work experience at a startup or other fast-moving, highly entrepreneurial work environment
- Experience leading or participating in debt fundraising in capital markets in Mexico and/or the US
In addition to working at an early-stage, fast-moving startup, you will qualify for equity (stock option grants), competitive compensation, and bonuses, paid time off, and holidays.
