About This Role

We're seeking a seasoned Senior User Experience Designer to join our Food and Beverage UX team at Oracle. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing innovative experiences tailored to the needs of restaurant customers and their guests.

Main Responsibilities

  • You'll partner closely with Product Management to understand customer needs, empathize with them, and imagine creative ways to improve their work lives.
  • Working in collaboration with fellow designers, you'll innovate by designing coherent, seamless, and emotionally resonant user experiences for our users.
  • You'll work closely with Engineering to bring your designs to life and with User Research to gather customer feedback on your designs.
  • Meeting regularly with stakeholders, you'll discuss project status, goals, roadblocks, and areas for improvement.
  • You'll lead design critiques, stakeholder reviews, and customer demos, and stay informed of changing design technologies and methodologies.
  • As a mentor to less experienced designers, you'll help drive process improvements and design strategy.
  • You'll develop domain expertise to reconcile design best practices with business needs, and drive process improvements and design strategy.

About You

  • As a full-stack user experience designer, you'll apply user-centered design methods to interaction design, visual design, and aesthetics.
  • You'll thrive on working well with others, collaborate effectively, and inspire colleagues to do their best.
  • You'll be a fantastic storyteller, communicating our products' value to customers through the user experience.
  • You'll love rules and know when to break them, thinking systemically to create coherent experiences.
  • You'll be open to learning and growth, constantly refining your assumptions, and finding ways to improve.
